Pick flowers, make memories

There's something special about picking your own flowers.

Take a pair of snips, wander through the garden and choose the colours, shapes and flowers that catch your eye. You don't need to know anything about flowers or arranging. Just pick what you love.

Whether you're creating a bouquet for your kitchen table, gathering flowers for someone special or simply enjoying an afternoon in the garden, a visit to Gina's Garden is about slowing down and enjoying the season.

Our Pick Your Own sessions run throughout the summer and autumn, with different flowers coming into bloom as the season progresses.

Meet Gina

Hi! I'm Gina, the grower behind Gina's Garden.

What started as a love of growing flowers has grown into a flower farm where people can come and enjoy the garden for themselves.

I love growing flowers from seed, trying new varieties and filling the garden with as much colour, texture and seasonal interest as possible. But my favourite part is sharing it with other people.

Whether you're picking your first bunch of flowers, learning something new at a workshop or simply wandering through the garden, I hope you leave feeling inspired to grow a few more flowers of your own.

Growing with nature

We believe beautiful flowers start with healthy soil.

At Gina's Garden, we're continually learning how to grow flowers in ways that work with nature rather than against it. We focus on building healthy soil, growing many of our flowers from seed, composting and reusing materials wherever we can. This year, we're also collecting rainwater to help irrigate the garden and reduce our reliance on mains water.

We encourage beneficial insects and pollinators, use integrated pest management and choose growing methods that help us look after the garden for the seasons ahead.

We're not perfect, and we're always learning. But every year we look for ways to grow better, waste less and leave the soil healthier than we found it.
